Refund Policy
We know plans change. This page explains how deposits, cancellations and refunds work for DJ services booked with DJ Semi-Colan. The same rules appear in our Terms & Conditions. If your signed booking agreement says something different, your agreement controls.
Deposits
A deposit of [$___ / __%] reserves your event date. The deposit is non-refundable. Once you book, we turn down other clients for your date, so the deposit covers that commitment. It can still be moved to a new date if you reschedule (see below).
If You Cancel
Send cancellations in writing by email to djsemicolan@gmail.com. The cancellation date is the day we receive your email.

More than ___ days before event: We keep the deposit. You owe nothing more and we refunf any other opayments you made.Â

___ days or fewer before the event: We keep the deposit and __% of the total fee is owed. We refund anything you paid beyond that.

On the event day, or no show: The full fee is owed.
Rescheduling
Need a different date? We'll try to move your booking, based on availability.

-
Your deposit can be applied to one new date within [12] months of the original event.
-
If your new date has a different rate, the difference will be added to or taken off your balance.
-
If we're not available on the date you want, the cancellation rules above apply.
If We Cancel
If we cancel your event for any reason within our control, we refund 100% of what you paid, including the deposit. If you'd prefer, we'll also help you find a qualified replacement DJ.
Events Outside Anyone's Control
Sometimes an event can't happen and it isn't anyone's fault. Examples include severe weather, illness or injury, natural disasters, government orders or venue closure. In these cases:

-
We'll first work with you to reschedule, and your payments carry over to the new date.
-
If rescheduling isn't possible, we keep the deposit and refund any payments beyond it.
